Women’s Weekend MTB Clinic South

The 2026 CAMBA Women’s South Mountain Bike Clinic will be a weekend of learning, gaining confidence, having fun, camaraderie, and experiencing the beauty of the CAMBA trails in the Hayward/Cable area! Set in the heart of CAMBA’s Big Woods Endless trails, instruction for the clinic will be provided by regional certified coaches who have experience in teaching beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders looking to gain confidence on their bikes and improve their skills on the trails. Open to women mountain bikers over the age of sixteen, all skill levels are welcome.
Not sure what level of rider you are? Not to worry! A pre-clinic survey will be sent to all participants, the results of which will be used by the coaching staff to assess skill levels. Beginning riders will learn basic bike handling skills for single-track riding, while advanced riders will refresh on the basics and build advanced skills on the beautiful CAMBA trails. While we all like to see as much of the trail as we can, please remember that this clinic is focused on building skills and gaining confidence in a supportive environment. It is not focused on miles of trail ridden.
**New for 2026** All clinic participants will receive a free entry to the 2026 Cheq Challenge (A $55 value). Take the leap and put your new skills to the test in the 30k, 50k, or embrace the ultimate 100k challenge to earn a prestigious finisher's trophy.

Clinic Schedule (subject to change):
Friday
Location: Mt. Telemark Village “The Hub”– Cable, WI
4:30pm – 6:00pm – Check-in, craft your name plate. BRING YOUR BIKE! Our coaches and mechanics will check your bike so you’re ready to go on Saturday.
6:00pm – 6:45pm – Dinner (included with registration)
6:45pm –8:15pm - Meet your coaches; Indoor sessions including “No Dumb Questions” and Helmet fit
Saturday
Location: Mt. Telemark Village “The Hub” – Cable, WI
8:15am – Coffee and breakfast treats provided
8:45am – Warm up with some fun movement
9:00am – 12:00pm – Get with your group and get started! Spend the morning working on level-appropriate mountain bike skills that will include basic body position, cornering, ratcheting, navigating over rocks and logs, anticipating the trail ahead, riding a pump track and berm course, and more!
12:00 – Lunch (included with registration) Group photos.
1:00pm – 4:00pm – Skills fun continues – take those skills to the trail with your group!
5:30pm – 8:15pm – Dinner served at 5:45pm (included with registration). Outdoor education break-out sessions which could include basic maintenance and repair, how to change a flat, what to carry in your pack, managing fear. Coaches will introduce your Sunday “Ride Experience” options; sign up!
Sunday
Location: Mt. Telemark Village “The Hub”– Cable, WI
8:15am – Breakfast treats and coffee
8:45am – 12:00pm – Meet your Sunday Ride Experience group, go for a coach-guided ride somewhere on the CAMBA trails and put your new skills into play!
12:00pm – Goodbyes from your location

Registration includes Friday and Saturday dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch, some sweet swag, a full weekend of amazing skills instruction, and more!
Registration: $350
Limited to 65 participants. All levels are welcome.
Lodging is not included in the registration cost.

Cancellation Policy:
We will refund registration, less a $50 fee, up to four weeks prior to the event. After that, a refund (less $50) is dependent on filling your spot from our waitlist. If we cannot fill your place, we cannot provide a refund after that point.
