The Borah Epic was created in 2013 as a way to showcase the newly competed 30+ mile linear singletrack between Cable and Hayward and at the same time raise additional funds to support the CAMBA trails. Presented by the Mt. Borah Foundation, all net proceeds from the event will be donated to CAMBA.
The 34 mile Epic starts in Cable and finishes at Hatchery Creek Park in Hayward. New this year is a 16 mile Half Epic that starts at County Hwy OO in Seeley and finishes at Hatchery Creek Park.
The 2016 Borah Epic takes place on Saturday, June 4. To learn more about this signature event, visit www.mtborahepic.com.
Registration opens on Feb. 1.
CAMBA will partner with the Epic this year to help provide race chiefs in various areas and provide individual volunteer support. Click the document below to view a description of race chief opportunities.
If you are interested in working as a Borah Epic race chief or as an individual volunteer, please contact race director Jack Zabrowski.
