Boogie in the Barn Gala
Mark your calendar now for CAMBA’s annual gala fund raising event – Boogie in the Barn – on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 5:00 to 10:00 pm.
Everyone is welcome and CAMBA invites all members of the community to celebrate and support the area’s world-class trails and help CAMBA further its legacy of trail advocacy and community investment. It will be an evening of food, dancing, live and silent auctions and without a doubt, the mountain biking social event of the season.
This year’s event will again be held at the Sylvandale Barn, at the residence of Matt and Kim Dale on Round Lake School Road near Hayward. This classic country barn will come alive with good times and good vibes.
Dinner will be provided by Divine Swine Catering – with an on-site pig roast, plus roast turkey and vegetarian options. Hayward’s own Angry Minnow beer will be served, with wine and soft drinks available.
Randy Sabien and Friends will liven up the crowd with acoustic folk, rock and jazz including singer-songwriter originals and stylized covers, so you are encouraged to bring your dancing shoes!
PS – This is the same day as the Seeley Lions Pre-Fat race. Come for the Gala and take in the race! Or come for the race and stay for the Gala – a great day, either way.
Directions to the Sylvandale Barn: From Hayward drive approximately 5 miles east on Hwy 77. At 1.1 miles past County Hwy K, turn right on Round Lake School Road. Go 1/3 of a mile to 10886 Round Lake School Road. Enter to the left.
Online ticket sales will close at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 19. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.

HOW YOU CAN HELP: A donation of goods or services to be auctioned at the Gala will make the fundraiser a financial success. All proceeds will be dedicated to improving, building and maintaining the CAMBA trail network – the live and silent auctions will be the principle fund-raising vehicles for the event.
We are seeking all kinds of items, not just bicycling-related. Several special items will be selected for a short live auction; the balance will be sold during the silent auction.
We would like to have all auction items in hand by August 7 and will make arrangements with you directly to take delivery or pick up your donation.
Your generosity is greatly appreciated. To acknowledge your donation, your business name will be prominently displayed with your item and publicized via CAMBA’s eNewsletter and social media.
CAMBA is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501c3, tax-exempt organization and your donation is fully tax-deductible.
Questions? Or to donate an item, please contact Ron Bergin at 715-798-3599 / firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks so much!
