CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
FOR CAMBA BOOTH AND TOUR AT FAT TIRE FEST

CAMBA requests the able assistance of several volunteers for our two main activities at the annual Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival.

CAMBA Booth - CAMBA maintains an informational booth, at which we also sell a few merchandise items, throughout the Festival weekend, from Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon. Hours are: Friday - 3pm to 8pm, Saturday - 10am to 5pm, and Sunday 10am to 2 pm.

John Saunders will head up this detail.
Contact John at johngerdas@aol.com if you can help.

CAMBA Fat Tire Tour - our annual tour of the wilds of the Bayfield County Forest surrounding Telemark Resort. We will need about 10 guides to accompany our tour groups on this low key event. We group up by pace and distance and head out at 1:00pm. Distances range from 10 to 13 miles with options to short cut or extend depending on the group and the guide. There will be a guide meeting at 12:30 under the big tent.

Contact Ron Bergin at rbergin@cheqnet.net or camba@cheqnet.net.

Questions about any of the above, contact Ron by email or at 715/798-3599.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR OCTOBER 6
On Saturday, October 6, CAMBA will hold its annual end of the season (sort of) gathering - also known as its Annual Meeting. This year, however, the Annual Meeting will be much more, including the usual work session in the morning, PLUS a group ride at Hatchery Creek, a reunion ride for CAMBA Kids participants (new riders welcome) and a cook out. Details and exact times remain to be finalized, but the Annual Meeting itself may be rolled into these activities, rather than having an evening meeting.

The final agenda for these events will be disseminated shortly.
