CAMBA ANNUAL MEETING, WORK DAY & COOK OUT

Board of Directors Elections
Elections for the CAMBA board of directors will be held at the annual meeting on October 13, 2007. All members in good standing are eligible to vote. Family members may cast two votes. This year we will be electing three directors, as one incumbent has served two terms and according to CAMBA bylaws must step down and the other two incumbents have chosen to not run for re-election. We are fortunate that we have four very qualified candidates to choose from. Candidate biographies will be posted on the CAMBA website, www.cambatrails.org.

Active members will be sent an absentee ballot.

The Annual Meeting will be held at Hatchery Creek Pavilion, Hayward on Saturday, October 13 at 1:30pm.

Annual Meeting Activities
In addition to our Annual Meeting, there will be a full slate of activities in which to participate on Saturday, October 13, including our usual work session in the morning from 9:00 to 11:30am. We will also have a group ride, a reunion ride for CAMBA Kids participants (new riders welcome) and a cookout.

Our schedule for the day:
9:00-11:30 - Trail Work - Mosquito Brook Trail Head - finish work on new singletrack and Hatchery Creek Trail Head - maintenance on Hatchery Creek Trail - lighter work cutting brush and trail tread improvement.

11:45- 1:00 - Group Rides from Mosquito Brook or Hatchery Creek. The CAMBA Kids ride will start at Hatchery Creek Park.

1:00 - Cookout at Hatchery Creek - CAMBA will provide brats, buns, watermelon, beer and soft drinks.

1:30 - 2:30 - Annual Meeting, Hatchery Creek Park - board elections, project reports, open discussion.
